LKCN Clinical Training

Students are offered practical experience in nursing at 600-700 bedded Hospitals. During clinical placement student retain the support of lecturers and have a clinical mentor who is part of nursing team during clinical placement. Students are supervised throughout by allowing students to gain the most from the experience.

Students are expected to experience 6 hours patient care, which will include working shift, night duty.

LKCN Hostel

LKCN is running a well managed hostel, accommodating near about 300 students. The rooms are well furnished and well lighted. Special attention is paid on cleanliness and maintaining hygienic environment. Hostel has warden and Asst. Warden appointed by the Management. One of them is always available in hostel to look after hostel management. Identity cards are issued to all occupants of hostel. These cards are to be deposited before entering hostel. Special visitors pass are issued after due authentication by Management/warden. Hostel is guarded by Security Round the clock. Students are expected to follow the rules of Hostel and failure to do so will lead to disciplinary action.

LKCN Facilities

The institution has excellent academic atmosphere, culture and discipline with the best infrastructure facilities such as state-of art building, laboratories, library facilities, student hostel for boys and girls, playground etc. Institution is determined to provide well qualified professional nurses by exposing them to state of art equipments at various renowned hospitals/clinics and by giving them practical training in institutes laboratories equipped with necessary facilities as per course norms.

Sports Facilities

There are facilities for indoor and outdoor games, sports competition are held during annual sports meet, students take part in inter college competition, organized by university and others. Students also participate in National level competitions.

Extra Curricular Activities

Debates, Essay Competition, Drama and sports are being regularly organized. Students participate in the district, state and national level competitions. Seminars are also held on W.H.O. Day, AIDS Day, Anti-tuberculosis Day, Nurses Day.

Cultural Activities

A big beautiful A/C auditorium for cultural programs and competition is available with more than 800 sitting capacity.

Library Facilities

A variety of books of different authors of all subjects are available in the library. Students can issue and return books following the library rules and regulations. Books of all subjects as well a collection of many national and international journals are available for students reference. To keep the students updated with the relevant activities in the field of education, medicine & current affairs national and local newspapers are available too.

Guidance & Counseling

A homely atmosphere is maintained in the hostel & college campus for the students. If any problem arises, concerned class teacher and principal give necessary guidance and counseling as and when needed.

Medical Facilities

Free medical checkup, consultation, Diagnostic Facility and treatment are available in the attached hospital. Sick Students are treated with all facilities free of cost in our hospital. Medical examination is conducted on admission and annually health checkup is done.

Transport Facilities

Vehicles are available for transportation of all students.
